Score Skates

iOS App

This is a skating scoring app. IJS stands for International Judging System, and is a system figure skating judges use in competition to score skaters. This apps mimics the software the judges uses. Skaters are scored in two sections, the technical element score (TES) and the program component score (PCS). The TES is gained by the elements skater executes in their program such as jumps, spins, and sequences. Judges give the skater a grade of execution (GOE) value, which adds or subtracts from the base value of the element, based on the skater's execution. The PCS is judged by how the skaters performs in their program, and is scored on a scale of 0 to 10 in increments of 0.25. The combined score of TES and PCS is the skater's total segment score.
